“Home is where the heart is”
This thought inspired Shri Jasvantrai Shah to form the Crescent Group where they built home for the homeless and the needy.
It was Jasubhai Shah’s dream to
provide a shelter for the ones who could not buy a home for themselves
where they could come back to after a long day of struggle.
Crescent – first project ‘Parivartan’ at Goregaon
Crescent Constructions was established after independence in the form of their first project namely
‘Parivartan’ at Goregaon in the year 1956.
Crescent Group’s founder member, fondly remembered as Jasubhai Shah started many affordable schemes which came up with free ownership with all the basic amenities for a comfortable living.
The schemes were implemented under DCR 33(7) of M.C.G.M. which benefited not only the needy but also generated revenue for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
Momentous year – undertaken five premier projects
1996 marked a very momentous year for the group as they had undertaken five premier projects.
The buildings became landmark properties for the city of Mumbai helping the company to get recognition in all spheres.
One of the project which is worth mentioning was – Crescent Heights, where the group had appointed one of the top contractors Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. to construct high quality building for the tenants & Free sale.
